Touch of Grey
I was at this show and remember hearing "Touch of Grey"for the first time. I was 22 at the time and not familiar with the lyrics, I thought the Dead was signaling the end was near . Boy was I wrong, 3/4 of the way thru the show I settled down behind the stage and watched and listened, the sound was amazing the Dead had that little fish bowl swirling , Going down the road , Moring Dew , Sugar Mag , U.S. blues I was seeing the audience just like the Band was seeing the fans . The whole place was jumping and rocking away. An incredible sight. Needles to say " they never stopped rockin"

I was there, I have the tape....
At the end of Spanish Jam, I STARTED THE PHIL CHANT!!!!
Somebody yells, "Phiiiiiill!!!" and I start, "PHIL, PHIL, PHIL," and so does the crowd, and he comes on with MAJOR BOMBS!!!! Then they go into a SICK Other One! Huge show!!!
And when we left he venue it was snowing!!!
